Account Manager - San Francisco, CA

The Account Manager at Deeplocal is held responsible for the accountabilities listed below:

  • ​Account Growth - Finding new opportunities within existing brand clients. Cultivating relationships with other teams, expanding the relationships we have with current client teams.
  • Business Development - Supporting CEO when necessary to cultivate new client prospects; present capabilities; and coordinate, attend, and contribute to intro/pitch meetings.
  • Relationship Strengthening - Establishing and growing meaningful relationships with senior level decision makers who could potentially become new clients. Managing relationships into new client contracts.
  • Client Advocacy and Communication - Acting as advocate for clients by listening to their goals and needs and responding promptly and strategically to requests. Communicating clearly and effectively. Traveling when necessary to attend client meetings and live events.
  • Marketing Strategy and Trend Communication to Clients - Providing value to client relationships by researching marketing trends and project requests, and evaluating them against clients’ goals and objectives.
  • Brief Development - Asking the right questions to clients to understand their goals and objectives. Writing and sharing a brief with the teams that leads to well-informed ideas.
  • Pitch Deck Review - Providing input and reviewing pitch decks. Supporting creative and technical team leads as necessary to finalize materials for pitches.
  • Scope of Work Input, Review, and Approval - Working in collaboration with Producers to draft scopes of work for projects across the agency. Carefully reviewing and editing scopes of work prior to review with Head of Project Management and Head of Account Management. Submitting scopes of work to Client and verbally vetting deliverables with Client.
  • Financial Conversations - Tactfully and carefully communicating estimates and budget implications to Client, setting proper expectations from the outset of a project in collaboration with with the Producer. Working in tandem with the Producer to assess when change order requests are reasonable and necessary, keeping in mind how such requests will impact the Client relationship.

This position is a remote role based in San Francisco, CA and reports to the Director of Client Services. 

Qualifications:

2+ years experience working in a marketing or account management role.
