Deeplocal is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist, who will work within Deeplocal’s People Team to identify, assess, and hire talent in creative, technical, and production disciplines—acting as the main POC during the recruitment process. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with discipline-specific hiring managers during the recruitment process, acting as a team to find the best fit candidates for open positions.

Ideal candidates for this role have worked for a top agency, interactive production company, or tech client, and have a strong understanding of roles, processes, and disciplines within those organizations. They can spot hybrid, “misfit” art+tech talent and move them efficiently through an equitable hiring process. They love finding and building a diverse, respectful, positive team. They have experience in DE&I and/or a passion for learning best practices. They are expert relationship-builders, are diligent listeners and note-takers, and can match people’s whole selves to open positions.

Responsibilities:

  • Full life cycle recruiting including sourcing, assessing and delivering a high quality, diverse talent pool to hiring managers. Monitor mix of sourcing strategies to assure diverse applicant flow.
  • Identify appropriate benchmarks and metrics and measure talent acquisition processes.
  • Screen resumes, schedule candidates, coordinate case study challenges, and conduct interviews following Deeplocal’s approach to hiring.
  • Write, edit, and post job descriptions as necessary.
  • Maintain timely and thoughtful communication with candidates using JazzHR hiring platform.
  • Research benchmarks for market rates of various roles and recommend compensation that aligns and keeps new employees equitable within the organization. Extend offer letters and hold salary negotiation discussions.
  • Manage or co-manage Deeplocal’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Community Committee—creating agendas for and running bi-monthly meetings, tracking the committee budget and progress, establishing yearly goals, keeping a pulse on WPP’s DE&I programs, and communicating progress to the agency.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3+ years of previous recruitment experience within the creative/production/tech sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to build, manage and maintain a network of collaborative relationships with hiring managers, candidates, schools, and peers to drive objectives and achieve staffing goals
  • Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and ability to communicate and influence potential client groups and outside candidates. Confidentiality is a must.
  • Ability to sell our agency as an employer of choice to students, college placement offices, and professional-level candidates.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven individual who is able to effectively partner with People Team colleagues and internal hiring managers
  • Working knowledge of Google suite of products, LinkedIn searching; tech-savvy
  • Previous direct work experience as an advertising/marketing/creative tech professional is a big plus.
